How to build a resilient Village Nation

The main focus is to meet, gain trust and build a resilience within the people and the community.

This is achieved by connecting with your neighbourhood and meeting over food this builds trust.

Next vote in a leader, and meet regularly.

frequency is up to each group, some suggestions could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Ideas for meetings are lunch, brunch, dinner, dinner parties (get out the fine china and silverware), fun day outs, picnics in the park, even a BBQ the way our great grand parents used to do it.

When splitting the meetings down into smaller groups due to size make sure there is an overlap of people attending and write down what was discussed so you can share between groups.

O.k we got a group now what do we talk about?, well, now you need to build resilience by talking about neighbourhood watches, emergency response plans (ERP’s), local infrastructure, how your council is going, when they are meeting, what was discussed, what some of the impacts of these decisions and if they are right for the community.

Another option is to discuss submissions and how you fill them and who can hand them in, under the decentralised model councils will become your regions what they look like will be up to your villages within this region, if you don’t manage your councils they will manage you and we can see what happens with that we are all looking at massive rate rises for things we didn’t ask for.
